The group COMET-ME (Community, Energy, and Technology in the Middle East) has been building and installing homemade wind turbines and solar panels as a way to provide safe, sustainable electricity to war-torn Palestine. But that could all change if the Israeli government’s orders to tear down these nascent projects for peace are carried out.

The group JStreet is trying to support these communities and COMET-ME by calling on Ambassador Oren, the Israeli Ambassador to the United States, to work with the Israeli Minister of Defence and ensure that these projects not be destroyed.
