As soon as we heard Bill McKibben's US Power Shift speech this past Saturday we had a hunch folks would find it meaningful and inspiring around the world. Little did we know just how much excitement it would generate. It has now been viewed over 22,000 times, and it's still flying through Twitter and Facebook. The only trouble is that it's only in English.
The 350 movement is very global—the Global Work Party on 10/10/10 included events in 188 countries! We do our best to provide as much of our campaign content in other languages as possible, and for that reason some of the people who bottom-line our translation work have their hands pretty full. So this week, we're hoping we can get a few more folks to help lend a hand in translating Bill's speech. In fact, we learned of a tool that will allow you to help us not just translate the trascript (found here), but even help enter subtitles into the video in your language.
