The Community-Based Approaches to Energy and Climate Change conference was held on 6 December 2008 at Randolph, Vermont, USA. Members of local energy committees, town and state officials, concerned citizens, and leaders of environmental organizations met to network, learn, exchange best practices, and get re-energized to solve the climate crisis, deal with peak oil, develop renewable energy sources, and build resilient, sustainable communities.
