Songaia Cohousing Solar and Permaculture Work Party

This event invites neighbors, local community leaders, media, district representatives, and advocacy groups to what will be a day of meaningful action and community fun. The event will take place on 10/10/10 from 2-6PM and will include demonstrations on permaculture and organic gardening. A discussion on installing solar panels in Northwest climates will be included, as well as demonstrations of a solar-run chicken coop and courtyard fountain. The event will conclude with a potluck feast at 5pm. Guided tours of the co-housing community will be available upon request. Children of all ages are welcome.
