To celebrate we installed a Community Network Hub at Gwlad Deg in Quay Street.
We currently have:
2x PCs
1x iMac
2x Printers & Scanners
All of which is supported by a new WIFI hotspot.

thePlan: A large community building in Ammanford has an existing ICT suite, which was installed approx. 4-5 years ago. It has been redundant for over 18months now.

theARCproject is seeking to re-invigorate this under-used Community Asset.

theACTION: To re-open the ICT suite to the general public for Digital Day 2011.
Launching the sustainIT initiative, providing Open Workshops & Talks regarding Digital Inclusion and the Local Community.

As Digital Day falls within Wales Sustainability Week, theARCproject also wishes to use this event to promote Trawsnewid Rhydaman / Ammanford in Transition.
