The ´Associação Cultural Cidadão Brasil´ is a non governmental organization that created de website ´Portal Terceira Idade´ (could be translated as ´The Aging People Portal´), http://www.portalterceiraidade.org.br, a very large web portal in Brazil, that offers news and information about health, environment, sports, leisure, citizenship, sexuality for aging people, arts and entertainment, among other issues. During its 3 years on the web, the portal has achieved the 1st place on the Google-Brazil ranking (when submitting the keyword "terceira idade" or "3a idade" (without being a sponsored link), and it is visited by 8 million people, with about 2 million page views/month. The ´Portal Terceira Idade´ has been elected as main reference for aging people issues in Brazil by Microsoft-MSN Communities Brazil, as well as by major universities around the country and the federal government (Secretaria dos Direitos Humanos do Governo Federal ´Human Rights State Department of Brazil). We appreciated very much your campaign, and we intend to make an event on October 24, in Marilia, SP, Brazil, focusing on the aging people. We will start conversations with local authorities to legally apply for the city’s central park and all the proper media advertisements to announce the event.
