Info also on flyer below. We especially encourage women and girls to take part in this event.

Event updates...

*WAC Management Collective members will be wearing bright scarves. if you want to speak on hailer, let us know so we can make sure you get a turn...

*Bring along old umbrellas, pots and pans, cardboard signs and anything else you can think of, and paint/mark '350' all over it! Or on you.

*If you have a guitar and know any environmental type songs, bring your voice...

*If you want to share a poem or some writing on climate justice, we want to hear it.

*If you have a hailer, bring it along.

*Face painting and body paint for '350's available at site. Bring some face paint yourself to contribute.

*If you are wading in the water for global campaign photographs, wear something bright if possible. Bring your cameras. Wearing (old) suits, formal, work and casual gear, carrying umbrellas, and wearing masks, snorkels and flippers, and dressing up as Pacific animals all make a statement about rising sea levels, cimate change, environmental damage and the impact on our daily lives in the Pacific.

*Think of fun visual ways to show your messages. Example. 'Hang washing out on a line with water around your ankles (Only need two washing poles, some bright clothes, and people to hang washing)'; 'Bring foldup chairs and table, dishes and take shot of people eating at it, half underwater'; 'Take shots at water level'; Make a 350 in the water using people; Decorated umbrellas, etc.

*Bring a mat, sunnies, water, hats, radios...enjoy the day...

*If you know people in the media ask them to cover the event

*Nearest bus-stop is on Laucala Bay road outside BP service station (opposite Tattersalls Gym). Walk round corner to us all -Not far -300m(ish).
