Round and round the bays

Join Wellington cyclists as we take our two-wheeled rides and make a statement along Wellington's amazing coastline about the need for safer cycle routes, cycling being a low carbon form of transportation and how much fun it is to ride our bicycles!

One ride is riding the Great Harbour Way from Days Bay in Eastbourne to Wellington Harbour. The "Round and Round the Bays" starts at Island Bay's Shorland Park at 11am. Then we ride anticlockwise around the bays (Lyall, Breaker, Seatoun, Scorching, Evans, Oriental Bays) and meet at outside Mac's Brewery.

This will be a cycle friendly ride for the whole family. Wear your most colourful clothing, and don't forget to dress up your bike and your helmet (flowers, colours, bells, whatever you can think of). We are going to show that cycling is healthy and fun!
