Blue Line Project

24 October 2009 - 11:00am

A statewide campaign to educate students in Hawaii about the climate crisis we face as an island community and how a 1 meter rise in sea level will cause catastrophic damage to our residents and community.

Blue Planet Foundation will be joined by; Hawaii Schools, Sierra Club, Hawaii Inter-Faith Power & Light and other community leaders to learn about 350.org and how we as a community can take part in this national movement towards solving our climate crisis.

Every student and community leader will be drawing the line on climate change by making their mark along the blue line and sending a message on-line and to the world. Blue lines will be drawn at three locations on Maui:

-Lahaina
-Kahului
-Kihei
