Sing me a Song to 350
Saturday, 24 October, 2009 - 14:30
From 2:30- 4:30PM, I will be repeatedly walking to the edge of the Hudson River shoreline at 94th St to sing a song to 350 and inviting others to join my song. I will alternately be seated by the water making drawings and photographs of the rising edge of the water and then standing and singing Puccini's “Vissi D'Arte” acapela to lament species being erased by global warming.
The singing is an SOS to the World that we are in trouble and need attention.
I invite others to join in with their own expressive music about loss and hope, especially those of other animals and of small human children who might not otherwise have a say in changes caused by global warming.
