Tahoe International Day of Climate Action

Saturday, 24 October, 2009 (All day)

Join the Tahoe team of International Day of Climate Action participants on Sunday, October 18th at 2:00pm on the north shore to represent the Tahoe basin in bringing awareness to global and local threats of climate change. The Tahoe day of action is set to follow the closing of the Sierra Nevada Alliance's Annual Conference (http://www.sierranevadaalliance.org/conference/) which is to be held at the North Tahoe Event Center and will provide several sessions on climate change.

We will take a photo of all participants who show up to be a part of this "action." The photo will include a backdrop of Lake Tahoe and we encourage bikes, kayaks, sail boats, and all other non-motorized vehicles in the photos along with creative actions. Contact us for more details and questions: Jill at 775-881-7566 or jcfalman@ucdavis.edu.
