University of Michigan Day of Climate Action

24 October 2009 - 1:00pm

Students and residents of Ann Arbor will gather on the Diag for food, fun, media attention, and, of course, a giant mass of people forming the numbers "350"!!!

> A band will entertain us on the Diag while we get our faces painted and roll around in earth balls!

> PHOTO OP! Don't forget to wear Maize and Blue!!! This will be a game day, and it would be great to show our politicians that Michigan stands for climate action!

> We'll have a fun, noisy, banner-toting march down toward the stadium after we take our picture.

> Role model the change you'd like to see in the world: ride your bike to the Diag! We'll try to get them in the photo.

WANT TO JOIN IN THE FUN? We are looking for people with skills: people, cookies, and performance skills. Plus, we would love your presence in the photo!! Email Tom for more info. THANKS!!!

EXTRA EXTRA: If we throw a great rally, Bill McKibben himself might grace us with his presence on November 11th on the Diag at Noon. Lets impress the big guy!
