Greetings all!
As a small contribution to the 350.org 10/10 Global Work Party! campaign, on Oct 10th, we will be hosting a Solar Power and Tree Planting Work Party, open to all and completely for free!

Experience how to set up an off-grid, 1.2kWh photovoltaic array. We will be hooking together 10 120W pv panels, running them through a controller to a battery bank with a 24v DC to 110v AC inverter. By the end of the day, if all goes according to plan, there will be a 'Lighting up' ceremony.
There will also be a tree planting event going on at the same time. Help us to start our forest garden! Saplings will be provided, but if you want to add to the forest, feel free to bring something along!
