Louisville: Act Now!

1. As of Oct. 6, there are 16 work parties scheduled around town, categorized as follows: 1 solar installation, 2 weatherizing buildings, 7 community gardens/yards/parks, 2 tree plantings, 1 meal prep, 1 meal clean-up, 1 workshop, and 1 political work. (2 of these work parties are separately registered on 350.org)

2. Headquarters for the day will be United Crescent Hills Ministries (UCHM), 150 State St. Working parties can use this site as a meet-up place and unassigned volunteers can come here seeking a job assignment. Each work party leader is responsible for her/his own work party's arrangements.

3. There will be a community celebration for all workers and supporters of the 10/10/10 effort, 4-8 PM at UCHM. We are planning tabling and music. A meal will be served @ 5:15; at @ 5:45, work party leaders will report on their activities. Please join the party; all are welcome!
