Vigil in Sudbury ON
11 December 2009 - 4:30pm - 6:00pm
PLEASE NOTE THE VIGIL WILL BE ON FRIDAY DECEMBER 11
1) The main Vigil will be on the Bridge of Nations on Paris St between 4:30 to 6:00 pm.
2) Visit to our MP's Office at 3:30 pm.
University students from The Sustainable Earth Club at Laurentian University will be presenting the constituency office staff of our MP, Glenn Thibeault, a poster that has pictures of us raising climate change consciousness at various events. We will be sharing the Jai Ho dance with everyone. An instructional video can be found here:

We are celebrating the end of climate change denial in Sudbury.
3) We will do our best to arrange a social dinner afterwards close to the bridge. Please look for people wearing the number 350 safety pinned to their coats for more details. The meal will be vegan.
THIS IS IT. We have four years give or take to start reversing what we have done to the atmospheric carbon dioxide.
You can participate in one or all of the actions above. The key vigil will be on the bridge and we like to have as many people there as possible.
Please sign up online so we can attract media and partners.
This event is collaborative, imaginative, and it will be beautiful.
The purpose of the event is to help the politicians by raising consciousness of the urgency of the climate crisis.
Our aim is to show the world we are too connected to fail.
Please check out our attached posters to see all the organizations in Sudbury that are partnering with us raising consciousness of the urgency of the climate crisis and thus helping our politicians in acting effectively on climate change.
All political parties are welcome to join us. When something is indisputable people unite.
