350 @ Hillel: A Week of Climate Action
Join us for a week of Jewish and environmental events leading up to 350.org’s 10/24.
TUESDAY
Tuesday Night Study Break: 3rd floor lounge, Hillel Building, 9:00-10:00 pm
Get out of Butler on Tuesday night to eat some delicious local snacks and get information about ways you can help with global climate change. ALSO: Learn about the Jewish Climate Change Campaign!
WEDNESDAY
Wednesday Night Learning Program: 5th floor, Hillel Building, 9:00-10:00 pm
WNLP is a weekly hour-long study session for partner/chevruta study. Find your own partner or be paired up to study any Jewish topic of interest. This week “Food For Thought: Hazon’s Sourcebook on Jews, Food, and Contemporary Life” will be available for studying.
THURSDAY
FREE Screening of FRESH, the movie: Rennert Hall, Hillel Building, 7:30 pm
FRESH celebrates the farmers, thinkers, and business people across America who are re-inventing our food system.

Shabbat Services: Hillel Building, Candle lighting at 5:45 pm, see Hillel website for more times
Join one of the many different services that will include an explanation on why climate change and 350.org are important to the Jewish community and to the world entire.
SATURDAY
Look for us @ 350 - Day of International Climate Action at Columbia University on Low Plaza from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Our table will feature Hillel ChicobagsTM, whole wheat challah, and the Jewish Climate Change Campaign pledge
