Cli350 Basketball Tournament and Youth Rally-Formate Change

After going through many ideas, I've finally come up with an effective yet simple climate change action plan that leverages the interests of many young Marshallese to join me and participate with 350.org Climate Change Action - 350 Basketball Tournament! My goal for this movement is to gather all basketball players, along with the whole community, to help them stop global warming by taking action (i.e. reduce their carbon footprints) and, most importantly, spreading the message of 350 throughout the whole island.
It might not sound a strong movement but believe me, the Marshall Islands is a small nation (60,000 population) and words always pass around quickly by mouth-to-mouth. My goal is also to promote healthy lifestyles through exercise, which I believe is another important element of building resilience to climate impacts. I will try to separate a certain time when all the basketball player take part in picking up all non-biodegradable materials (i.e. styrofoam cups, aluminum soda cans, shopping bags, etc). A healthy environment helps us cope with climate change.
There will be a youth rally as well for climate change on this day. All youth leaders from churches, NGOs, etc., have already organized their agenda for the CC movement.
