Halton Hills 350 Carbon Think Tank & 3.5 km Trek

Sustainable Halton Hills is organizing a 350.org event that will bring forward local ideas and actions around climate change.

3.5 km Trek [Please Register For This Event - See Grey Bar Below "RSVP For This Event"]
On Oct 10, 2010 at 10:00 am, we will hold a 3.5 km trek in Georgetown to bring awareness to 350.org and the 10/10/10 day for Global Action. [For more information about 10/10/10 visit: http://www.350.org/invitation ]

The 3.5 km Trek will start at Cedarvale Park, we will travel up Main St. South to Hwy 7, then we will travel East on Hwy 7 to Maple Ave, then Maple Ave back to Cedarvale Park. If possible, leave your car at home and walk or bike to our starting location.

350 Carbon Think Tank
Thanks to those who attened last nights (Wed Sept 29) "350 Carbon Think Tank" held at Silvercreek Espresso Bar. We had a lively discussion and recorded some great ideas for local action.
