For anyone living in or near Aspen, Colorado, you'll have a great selection of carbon-cutting activities to choose from on 10/10/10. At the Aspen Climate Action Day, participants will meet at Gondola Plaza at 1 PM tomorrow for a Do It Yourself solar oven demonstration, gardening projects, tree plantings, forest restoration, political action, energy efficiency neighborhood canvassing, and a reusable bag giveaway.

The Work Party will conclude with a special screening of the documentary film Carbon Nation, where folks will get a chance to relax after a hard day's work and learn about climate solutions being implemented throughout the United States.

Peter Byck, Carbon Nation's director and a good friend of 350.org, was kind enough to make an exclusive clip of the film available for our supporters to check out during the weekend of 10/10/10:

Carbon Nation opens in New York City on January 14th, 2011 and will open the following weeks in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, Boston and Austin.  Don’t live in any of these areas?  Please let the Carbon Nation crew know if you would like to set up a screening in your town. Visit the Carbon Nation website for details.
