Picton, Ontario Candlelight Vigil and Walk for the Earth
Yes, Canadians do care about climate change! On the bitterly cold evening of Friday, December 11 in the small town of Picton, Ontario forty of them showed just that. Carrying lights and signs expressing concern for our treatment of the earth we marched from the Picton United Church to the Regent Theatre and back. Everyone in attendance shared the common wish for our leaders to produce a fair, ambitious and binding treaty in Copenhagen. We must take better care of our world.
