Climate Cleanup

On October 10, 2010 (10/10/10) young volunteers will engage in pollution reduction by picking up and cleaning up trash, particularly the Non-biodegradable items (e.g. Plastic). We hope to celebrate this historic day by contributing to the preservation of the natural environment.

The particulars of the event are given below-

- Trash cleanup for 1 hour
– Encouraging the pedestrians to dispose the garbage in proper places
– Disposing the collected trash in the right place thus setting up an example for everyone
– At last, some Local Work Party as a part of the Global Work Party

Global Warming is causing a devastating Climate Change; it is time we take some radical steps to avert the grim fate that has been projected. As one of the most vulnerable countries, Bangladesh can still demonstrate a good example by reducing whatever trivial pollution that it generates. With that in mind, we are going to celebrate 10/10/10.
