Celebrating Survival With Floods victims of Pakistan: A Cricket Tournament

"10/10/10 will mark the launch of Two monthly Cricket Tournament for Flood survivors of Pakistan"
With the devastating floods in Pakistan, about 21 million people have been effected. A wave of hunger, disease and lack of necessities have attacked the survivors of this flood and this situation being the worst, these people have lost the zeal for life.
Participatory Development Initiatives (PDI) in Pakistan have been deeply engaged in flood relief operations in Sindh and Balochistan provinces of Pakistan, Reaching out to about 10,000 families PDI is keen to contribute towards bringing back the lives these people once lived.
And hence this 10/10/10 PDI and 350 plan to celebrate the Global Work Party with the flood survivors of Pakistan! to ensure a spirit of hope, survival as well as to raise awareness on Climate Change.
PDI and 350 plan to organize a two monthly cricket tournament and launch it on day of 10th october 2010, PDI aims to bring together about more then 200 people to learn and share and to celebrate!
PDI Pakistan plans to bring 30 cricket teams from the tribal communities of Balochistan in district Khuzdar, launching the two month long cricket tournament on the day of 10th October 2010. Along with posters, pamphlets, brochures and banners on Climate Change PDI team will be talking about the Climate Crises via speakers throughout the two months, raising awareness of local people.
