Klimanetværk Østjylland indkalder til cykeldemonstration!
Cykeldemonstration, filmvisning og debat mellem byrådskandidater. Dette er Århus’ bidrag til hvad der muligvis bliver historiens største klimaaktionsdag.
I Århus laver Klimanetværk Østjylland en sammenkobling af den globale og den lokale dagsorden. Til cykeldemonstrationen vil alle cykler have nummerplader med budskabet ”350.dk, CO2-neutralt Århus”, ligesom debatten mellem byrådskandidaterne tager udgangspunkt i målet et CO2-neutralt Århus. Debatten samt visningen af Spillefilmen ”The Age of Stupid” finder sted på Hovedbiblioteket, hvor Borgmester Nicolai Wammen også vil deltage.
Programmet for dagen:
11:00 Cykeldemonstration fra Rådhuspladsen med klimanummerplader.
Film og debat på Hovedbiblioteket
12:00: Præsentation af arrangementet, filmen og Klimanetværk Østjylland
12:15: Filmen: ”Age of Stupid”
13:45: Nicolai Wammen om kommunens planer inden for klimaområdet
14:00: Debat mellem byrådskandidater om et CO2-neutralt Århus
15:00: Afrundning
Klimanetværk Østjylland er et bredt initiativ, der lægger størst muligt folkeligt pres på de lokale politikere. Der er behov for handling og fælles løsninger nu!

Climate Network Jutland calls for bicycle demonstration!
Bicycle Demonstration, film viewing and discussion between City Council candidates. This is Aarhus' contribution to the global day of action.
In Aarhus Climate Network Jutland will link the global and local agendas. At bicycle rally all bicycles have license plates with the message "350.dk, CO2-neutral Aarhus", like the debate among council candidates based on objective a CO2-neutral Aarhus. The debate and the screening of the feature film "The Age of Stupid" is taking place on the Main Library, where Mayor Nicolai Wammen will also participate.
Program for the day:
11:00 Bicycle Demonstration from Town Hall Square with climate plates.
Film and discussion at the Main Library
12:00: Presentation of the event, film and Climate Network Jutland
12:15: Film: "Age of Stupid"
13:45: Nicolai Wammen on municipal plans in the area of climate change
14:00: Discussion among council candidates on a CO2-neutral Aarhus
15:00: rounding
Climate Network Jutland is a broad initiative to bring maximum international pressure on local politicians. There is need for action and common solutions now!
