350 Stencils

Stencils are a great way to reproduce images many times. Once you have a stencil made you can use it on anything: teeshirts, posters, flags, banners, headbands, posters, anything!

Just Print out these images by clicking on the list at the bottom of the page, that will allow you to download a printable PDF version of the stencil.

If you are going to use paint, I suggest you tape the paper onto a piece of cardboard, and then cut the stencil out of cardboard. It is more durable (paper gets very flimsy when wet). You can also cut stencils out of thin plastic (like the plastic front of notebooks). Next, using a box-cutter, razor or exacto knife (be VERY careful, and get help from an adult), cut out the black parts of the stencil. If you make a mistake, no problem, just tape it up and keep going. Make sure your paper doesn't move on the cardboard while you are cutting it out. Once you have a stencil made you can use it many times.

For spray paint: less is more, do a few quick sweeps from about 12 inches (10 cm.) away, keep the can moving the entire time.

For House paint: Dab your brush straight up and down, rather than painting in flowing strokes. If the paint is watery it might bleed under the edges.

For Crayons/Markers: Just trace the image and color it in.
